Education Story

Name:  Nadine M. Martin

Age:  34

Family Structure:  Single parent of 5 year old boy

Employment Status:  PT research assistant, FT graduate student

Describe your situation prior to enrolling in FAIM:   Newly single parent, was at-home mom for three years, suddenly needed to find myself a way to secure a better education, job, and future.

Why did you sign up for FAIM? Sounded like an amazing program both in the area of education/support and the obvious financial benefits.

How has FAIM helped you? It has mentally helped me to feel supported in my goals, financially it has helped decrease student loan debt. (Without FAIM, I would have needed more student loans!).

Why did you pick Education?    I picked education, because at this point in my life, my education  (completing it) was most important to planning for my (our) long-term stability.

What part of FAIM helped you most? The financial matching of my savings was a huge blessing and benefit.

Would you recommend this program and why? Absolutely would recommend it.  It was a positive learning experience and was run very professionally and efficiently.  The financial benefit is an obvious plus!
