Home Purchase Story

Name:  Andrea Redetzke

Age:  30

Family Structure:  Single mother of a daughter – Avianna Bishop

Employment Status:  Independent Lifestyles, Inc.

Describe your situation prior to enrolling in FAIM:   I was a new single mother and had changed my career and when I first heard about FAIM, I didn’t think I would qualify – sense of hopelessness.

Why did you sign up for FAIM? I knew that one day I would want to buy a home, plus develop better money management skills and I knew there was hope for all this.

How has FAIM helped you?    It helped me realize I could achieve what I set my mind to in regards to buying a home.

Why did you pick Home Purchase?    I already had a college education and was not interested in a business, plus home ownership was next “to do” on my life list.

What part of FAIM helped you most? Attending financial classes, Home Stretch classes and always knowing Patrick S. was there to answer questions/meet with me when needed.

Would you recommend this program and why?   Yes – because what a great opportunity for someone to excel in one of three areas a person can pursue.  I wish more people knew about the program which is why I tell people about the program and Tri-Cap as a whole!
